SUMMARY:2024 Stop the Violence Walk & Summit and Get Out the Vote
DESCRIPTION:“I Just Want to Live: Promoting Safety and Peace Circles”\nVenue: Sixth Avenue Baptist Church\n1101 Martin Luther King\, Jr. Drive\nBirmingham\, AL 35211\nTime: 9:00am-12:00pm CST\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe will start with the Walk at 9:00am in the Sixth Avenue Baptist Church (SABC) parking lot\, followed by the Summit at 10:00am in the SABC sanctuary\, followed by the reception at 12:00pm in the SABC Fellowship Hall with food by Tim Sheffield of SABC and music by DJ Magic Mike of V94.9. Voter Registration by the Deltas and Voter Protection Information by the Alabama Lawyers Association will be provided onsite. The AKAs will have a ballon release in the SABC parking lot in honor of victims and survivors of violence. \n\nThe colors for the event are purple (Domestic Violence Awareness) and orange (Gun Violence Awareness).\n\nWe are challenging all Divine 9 sororities and fraternities\, motorcycle clubs\, church and community leaders\, churches\, non-violence organizations\, adults\, youth and children to join us to help Stop  the Violence and Get Out the Vote.\n\nWe need you to join us and help STOP  the violence\, take back our communities and SAVE our children.
